Bonanzaville 07/22/2024

Bonananzaville Pioneer Village, part of Cass County Historical Society,  is located on the west side of Fargo, North Dakota.  It is a "living" collection various historical mini-museums. For those that know me, it will be of no surprise the majority of pictures focus on trains, plains, and automobiles (and tractors)!

Cass County Court house (don't touch the artifacts!).  Some really lovely wood work, by the way.

"Cut-away" Farmall Super-C

I was focusing on the transfer gear set used to raise the frame higher (to clear crops)

Allis Chalmers G with belly mounted planter.

"Bull"...1912 arguably one of the most influential tractors.

Moline Universal D 1923

4 Wheel drive!  1930 Massy Harris

Co-Op, I have never seen more than one in a single place.

Fordson
Rumely

1918 International Jr.

Looks like a death machine to me!  Front mounted snow blower.
John Deere Waterloo Boy

Self-propelled tractor.

The original mass produced "skid-steer/bobcat".
Bobcat started in North Dakota

Phantom F4-C; history on this particular plane isn't clear, it may have been deployed to Vietnam.

No plaque on this one, but despite the markings, it is a British Hawker Hunter E-407.  Later internet reseach (thanks friends) found this: https://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk/hunter/survivor.php?id=348

No Tesla was not the first electric car!

Studebaker Clark

1981 Freeway

Simica (first time seeing one of these in person)

1950 Crosley

Thunderbird

Traffic

International

Nash
It should be noted that Ford Motor Co. had a very large plant in Fargo, based right along the railway.
